HighLoad++ Serbia is dedicated to providing an enjoyable, respectful and safe event experience for everyone, both offline and online. We expect participants to follow these rules within all conference environments and conference-related social environments.
All participants, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at our conference must agree to the following code of conduct. The conference organizers are obligated to ensure compliance with this code during the event. To ensure a safe environment for all participants, we expect the cooperation of all parties.
Our conference is a place free of offensive behavior for all, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, physique, race, ethnicity, political affiliation, religion (or lack thereof), and preferred technology and any other form of unacceptable behavior. We will not tolerate any form of breaking the law or discrimination against anyone attending the conference. Sexually explicit language, profanity and obscene gestures and images are inappropriate in all areas of the conference, including presentations, workshops, after-parties, Twitter and other online media. At the discretion of the organizers, appropriate action will be taken against those who violate the rules, up to and including removal from the conference without refund of the cost of participation.
Unacceptable behavior includes:
Intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning speech, materials, or conduct by any participants of the event and related event activities; Violence, threats of violence, or violent language directed against another person, personal insults and use of profanity and obscene gestures; comments, discriminatory jokes and language relating to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, physique, race, ethnicity, political position, religion, and preferred technology; displaying sexual images in public places; displaying political appeals; campaigning for particular social positions on which there is no generally accepted consensus in society; intentional intimidation, harassment, intrusive photo, video, and audio recordings and any inappropriate photography or recording as well as taking of photos within the event environment for use on social media, without the prior permission of the individuals or owners of the content therein; intentional disruption of speeches and other events; inappropriate physical contact and unwanted sexual attention or any other behavior that violates applicable law. non-compliance with the rules and restrictions declared by the organizers as necessary for your safety and health (including restrictions related to Covid-19 and etc.).
Those who are asked to stop the unacceptable behavior must comply with the request immediately.
The rules also apply to conference sponsors. In particular, sponsors should not use explicit images or other materials, or conduct promotions with sexual connotations. Personnel on the stand (including volunteers) may not use sexually suggestive clothing, uniforms, costumes, or otherwise create a sexually suggestive environment.
In the event of unacceptable behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including a warning to offenders or their removal from the conference without refund. If you are being insulted, or if you notice someone else being insulted, or if you have any other reason for concern, please contact someone from the organizing team immediately. They can be recognized by their branded t-shirts and/or badges.
The conference team will be happy to help contact venue security, local law enforcement, offer an escort, or otherwise help those who have been offended feel safe throughout the conference. We appreciate your presence.
We expect all attendees to abide by these rules at all conference venues and at all public events related to the conference.
